Beta players = lieing douchebags
Does anyone know what this is? Up until this morning I sure as fuck didnt. As it turns out this is something you just happen to pick up on the quest to receive Tunare's Diety cloak. Now considering this cloak/diety does all of jack shit for anyone other than a healer, most people have probly never done it, especially when you realize that Tunare is a GOOD ALIGNMENT ONLY god.
Ok, so now we all know what it is, but what the fuck does that matter? Well logic would indicate absolutely nothing as it is an item that good aligned characters can receive only right? Well that turns out to be wrong. Evidentally this item is supposed to be gotten from the area around Wuoshi in Emerald Halls, only AFTER you kill him. It is then a harvestable item that your raid force can pick up. That makes sense, you clear the zone, you get some item with some mystical useage right?
Oh no, here we are wrong again. To take this craziness one step further, I guess you can delete the tunare cloak quest after receiving this item and repeat it to your heart's content. But still, after being told this when I logged in this morning, I still had no fucking clue why that matters at all because its just some dumb leaf. Well as the story goes, this item is useable on Mayong Mistmoore in some fashion or another to prevent one of his AE's or something like that (i heard it prevents his de-level, but obviously having just been informed this is all second hand knowledge). WHAT THE FUCK! First off, how can something that incredibly important accidentally slip into a GOOD ALIGNMENT ONLY quest line? Secondly how the fuck would anyone ever know about that and then get multiple ones on alts and other characters to use it against Mayong?
Well only the developers can explain the first question and how much of a fuck up that is, but I can answer the second. During beta, a developer explained, in full detail to at the very least, members of NPU and Second Dawn exactly what Wolfsbane was, where it came from, and what it was used for. I was told this by a member of NPU because they figured if anyone would bitch about it, I would, and they were right. Obviously Second Dawn has killed Mayong, and last night they killed him again. Grats, I am sure its still a reasonably challenging encounter, but seriously, dont you ever fucking say beta knowledge doesnt help again. There are tons of guilds getting that guy to 50% and lower who have no clue about this wolfsbane crap I am sure and I bet they all can beat it now once they find out. I heard Second Dawn was zoning in other characters and alts with the wolfsbane last night to kill Mayong because they had planned ahead and gotten so much of it, talk about bullshit.
Like I said, grats on your kill, dont forget to give all credit to your firsthand beta knowledge that 95% of us out here had no fucking clue about. Lieing pieces of shit with their "beta doesnt give an advantage", my ass.

Jesus man...there was NO beta info involved you tard. We spent more time, tried harder, and scrutinized everything.
All you have to do is read the quest info and the mobs text and the answer is in PLAIN sight. Just because some people are literate doesn't mean they are getting fed l33t beta inf0z.
Get your facts straight before you start making wild accusations about something you obviously have no fucking clue about.
In case you missed it, the guy from NPU flat out told me you guys got the information from beta. Not like your credible when you or one of your guildies posted that you never even saw Mayong in beta and everybody knows you had a screenshot of mayong hosted on your website the second or third week of beta that you had to remove.
On another note, first pull with that wolfsbane knowledge it was dead. He's no harder than Chel'drak and that beta knowledge is HUGE. Makes that fight a fuck load easier thats for sure. What a joke.
My prediction: NPU, Aftermath, Strike, CL, etc etc kills this mob very soon because now that this information is public, it just isnt that hard.
Who is the guy from NPU to say what was or wasn't told to us? Thats just about as credible as you making stuff up here.
On the flipside, grats on your kill. Maybe this encounter will teach you and your guildmates to read through quests as you complete them.
If we can help motivate even a few people to learn to read, it sounds like we're making a *REAL* difference!
This is Renaven from NPU. I would also like to know where you got your information from Ishbu. I was on every single one of our beta raids, and we did not even make it past the first room in MMIS because the Blood Drinkers were bugged, and every time they level drained, the entire zone lagged for the entire duration of the fight, until the fight ended, or you died. We were not able to pull Mistmoore, or get anywhere close to him during our entire time in beta.
Please prove that I'm wrong. Maybe it was different for Second Dawn, but our developer interaction consisted of following up with them after we cleared HoS, did Hurricanus, and more, to test the combat changes. We did do EH before it got beefed up and changed drastically, and we also did the zone-in of MMIS, as well as a fair chunk of Freethinker, however to my knowledge we did not actively speak directly to any Developers.
I know for a fact there was not one anywhere close to us when we did those zones. I guess there's always the slight chance that a Dev spoke with an officer of my guild via tells from another location, and discussed all of this, but I highly doubt it because I would know if that happened.
So, if you wouldn't mind, please prove me wrong.
Calaglin said it took you 4 pulls to kill Mayong last night.
4 total pulls including the ones where we fucked up and died on incoming and where we stupidly forgot about the chaperon/respawn.
First pull where we used a wolfsbane, dead. Nice try gaige but you just dont have anything.
Renaven, Ill send you a tell in game.
You act like using the wolfbane magically gimped the mob but in reality it did not. Your first 3 pulls the mob was the exact same as the 4th pull when the wolfbane was consumed. All 4 pulls no wolves came, it was the same mob each time. Once the wolfbane is consumed nothing changes in the encounter other then the fact that the wolves don't come, which they didn't come in your first 3 pulls so there was no difference at all. But in BuBu land you probably still think that the wolfbane prevents AoE's and delevels.
I think your anonymous posts where you guys are all so upset are proof enough that clearly there is something here otherwise it wouldnt bother you so much.
Its painfully obvious to me that you guys knew about this all and are pretty upset its public now.
